At Design By Artist, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. However, as our products are art prints and posters, they are delicate items. We have crafted a policy that is fair to our customers while allowing us to maintain our quality standards.
Please read the following conditions carefully.
1. RETURN WINDOW
Our return policy lasts 15 days from the date the tracking status shows “Delivered”. If 15 days have passed since your delivery, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
2. DAMAGES & ISSUES (DEFECTIVE ITEMS)
We strongly encourage you to inspect your order immediately upon reception. If your poster arrives damaged, creased, or if you received the wrong item, we will make it right at no cost to you.
How to claim a replacement/refund for damaged items:
- Do not dispose of the item or the packaging.
- Email us at [email protected] within 48 hours of delivery.
- Include your Order Number and clear photos of:
- The damaged poster (showing the defect).
- The shipping tube/packaging (showing any external damage).
Once verified, we will send a replacement immediately or issue a full refund, depending on your preference. You do not need to return the damaged item.
3. RETURNS FOR OTHER REASONS (CHANGE OF MIND)
If you are not satisfied with your purchase for personal reasons (e.g., wrong size ordered, changed mind about the style), we accept returns under the following strict conditions:
- Condition: The item must be unused, unpinned, and in the same condition that you received it. It must be in the original packaging (tube). Posters that have been hung, taped, or creased by mishandling will not be accepted.
- Return Shipping: The customer is responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning the item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
- Restocking: If the item is returned in its original condition, we will refund the cost of the product. The original shipping fee ($6.99) is non-refundable.
4. HOW TO INITIATE A RETURN
To start a return, please contact us first. Do not send your purchase back without contacting us first, as returns sent without prior authorization will not be accepted.

- Our support team will review your request and provide you with the return instructions.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
5. REFUNDS
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- Approved: If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 5-10 business days.
- Rejected: If the item arrives damaged (due to poor repacking by the customer) or shows signs of use, a refund will not be issued.
6. EXCHANGES
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item due to damage, please refer to Section 2. If you wish to exchange for a different size or design, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order separately.
